The White Rose responds to Sydsvenskan
The similarity between Islam and Nazism is fanaticism, the absolute claim of possessing the only truth
In an unusually ill-informed article in the Swedish daily Sydsvenskan, the theologian and author Ann Heberlein praises the stone-throwing left as heroes. (Sydsvenskan). The anti-democrats that stood outside Kockum Fritid in the Swedish town of Malmö, where they proceeded to direct verbal abuse, throw eggs and deliver blows in order to prevent citizens from attending a peaceful gathering with Dutch Party Leader Geert Wilders, are no ordinary thugs. And in order to stress how fantastic these hoodlums are, she quotes the German anti-Nazi resistance group The White Rose: ”Nothing is so unbecoming a civilized nation than without resistance allowing oneself to be ruled by an irresponsible clique that has given in to its lowest instincts.”
That is quite an apt description of Sweden’s situation right now. We are ruled, with little noticeable resistance, by an irresponsible clique that has given in to its lowest instincts – the urge to appear good while in reality causing enormous harm.
In the first flier distributed by The White Rose it said: ”Isn’t it true that every honest German is ashamed of his government these days? Who among us has any conception of the dimensions of shame that will befall us and our children when one day the veil has fallen from our eyes and the most horrible of crimes – crimes that infinitely outdistance every human measure – reach the light of day?”
To compare Hitler’s war of aggression and his extermination of millions of Jews to today’s Sweden led by the Moderate Party is a thought that most Swedes will reject out of hand. There are, nevertheless, similarities: Dismantling of democracy, persecution of dissidents and a social experiment of a kind never before attempted. It defies all common sense to exchange large parts of the Swedish population within a time span of a few decades and thus change the country, which the government is there to administer, from a safe and secure society to the world’s second-worst haven for rapists.
I quite agree with Heberlein that such a country is in need of resistance. Apart from that she has got it all wrong. To even mention the anti-democratic and violent Anti-Fascist Action (AFA) and their ilk in connection with The White Rose is an insult to the young and brave Germans who joined that pacifist organization.
One person who is bound to become utterly enraged when she reads Ann Heberlein’s stupidities is Suzanne Zeller-Hirzel (photo), one of the last survivers from The White Rose. Today she is a member of Pax Europa, an organization opposing the Islamization of Germany and Europe. During a 2009 interview (NewEnglishReview), Suzanne Zeller-Hirzel explained why she had got engaged:
– I read many, many books on the subject, in particular the books by Mark Gabriel on Islam and terrorism. So I realized that one must not simply accept these things passively but also do something about it. One must support this cause by necessity.
Asked about what similarities she detects between Islam and Nazism, the White Rose survivor answers:
– The fanaticism, the absolute claim of possessing the only truth and the spiritual simplicity are very similar between Islam and the Nazism.
New English Review’s reporter asked Suzanne Zeller-Hirzel why she thinks it is so hard to explain these similarities to the public – and here the theologian Ann Heberlein ought to pay attention:
– The general indifference to religious matters makes it difficult. The public believes we have to be ‘fair’ to everyone. That is counterproductive. Additionally, there is general prosperity with a relatively high standard of living that makes people lazy. I say: Only education can help. Education can aid.
Education, says Suzanne Zeller-Hirzel. Knowledge. The very thing the Swedish media are trying to bar Swedes from access to. The fact that the Free Press Society offers such knowledge is anathema to journalists who believe that they are entitled to a monopoly of interpretation.
Ann Heberlein is obviously without a clue about The White Rose, and lacks the ability to identify the real resistance fighters. But she is right about one thing: There is something that deserves defending. Regrettably she seems to think that what deserves defending is the right of left extremists to pelt their adversaries with rocks and prevent peaceful gatherings from taking place.
What we need to defend is our freedom.
Freedom from religious oppression, freedom to live in a Western democracy without fatwas, decapitations, stonings and all the rest of what Islamic sharia has on offer.
If there are heroes to be found, they are certainly not among the stone throwers – but among those daring to stand up for freedom.
PS: I asked Sydsvenskan for an opportunity to reply but Cultural Editor Rakel Chukri refused on the grounds that “Heberlein’s article doesn’t deal with the Free Press Society but with a moral question of whether or not to act at a time where xenophobia is growing stronger in Europe”. In other words, both Chukri and Ann Heberlein have completely misunderstood where the threat against Europe comes from.

On Monday, November 19 I was invited for a grilling at Publicistklubben Södra (a debate club for journalists). I accepted, of course – never would I miss a chance to talk about my favorite subject, free speech, in front of colleagues who have gone astray.
Up until the last moment it was unclear who was going to grill me. A few days before the meeting, I got the message that Niklas Orrenius, a former reporter with Sydsvenskan and now Expressen’s expert on ”xenophobia, hate crime and islamophobia” couldn’t make it. He travels around the country and reports on how racist and evil Swedes are but carefully refrains from writing about hate crimes against Swedes. Nor can he find time to report on the fact that Muslim youths are behind practically every outrage against Jews in Malmö. Nothing is permitted to blur his big picture: Swedes are racists and immigrants are victims.
Two days before the meeting, Orrenius suddenly remembered that his daughter had her tenth birthday the very day the meeting was to take place. I sympathize with him: It’s less fun confronting a knowledgeable colleague in a debate than interviewing her in her home and then selecting quotes that fit one’s preconceived angle. (Sydsvenskan)
Not until the day of the meeting was I informed that I was to be questioned by Per Svensson. No problem for me, I owe him my thanks! Had it not been for Per Svensson’s monumental ignorance about free speech and where silence will lead us, I might still have been a disgruntled vice-chair of Publicistklubben.
Due to his decision to disinvite the Danish journalist Mikael Jalving for a meeting where he was to talk about his book Sverige – tystnadens rike(Sweden – the land of silence), which is finally coming out in Swedish, I go so angry that I left Publicistklubben. That led to my being asked to speak to the Danish Free Press Society and to my decision to start a Swedish Free Press Society. It all culminated last summer when Lars Hedegaard and I decided to launch the newspaper you are now reading, Dispatch International.
Per Svensson is perhaps the premier exemplar of the cowardice that characterizes Swedish journalists. He and his cohorts tremble with fear at the mere thought of confronting Islam but never hesitate to poke fun at the Swedish Church or persecute a tiny and obscure sect like the Plymouth Brothers. They get the hiccups if they ever contemplate dealing critically with Sweden’s mass immigration – the greatest change our country has ever been exposed to – and the disastrous consequences it has entailed: explosively rising crime, a galloping increase in parallel communities where the writ of Swedish law doesn’t run and where the fire brigade doesn’t dare enter, the metamorphosis from a safe, secure and homogenous country to the world’s second biggest land of rape, steadily declining schools results, the abolition of housing for the elderly etc. All this is taking place while politicians and bureaucrats are raking in huge amounts of money from their participation in the immigration-industrial complex with expensive housing for asylum seekers, processing hundreds of thousands of people without passports and swelling a immigration bureaucracy, whose objective is to hand out as many residence permits as possible.
Well, during my forty minutes of grilling, Per Svensson started sweating far more profusely than I. It is not difficult to answer insinuating questions if one is truly committed and sticks to the truth. Those of you who are interested can watch the entire exchange here. It is my silent hope that I may have reached at least a few among the audience. Surprisingly, there are some indications that I may have. I would also hope that many will go and watch Jan Troell’s new movie Dom över död man (Verdict over a dead man) about the publicist Torgny Segerstedt, which is opening in December. Segerstedt didn’t give a damn that the prime minister and the king alternated between entreating and threatening him to stop filling his newspaper with articles critical of Nazism. Today he is, to be sure, a hero but back in the day he was alone and treated like an outcast by his colleagues.
Another model journalists ought to remember is Henrik Cavling, the man whose name is remembered every time Denmark’s most prestigious journalism award, The Cavling Prize, is handed out. He was the son of poor Swedish immigrants to Denmark (his father never learned to read or write), but Cavling became the preeminent pioneer of the Danish and Nordic press and turned Politiken into Denmark’s largest newspaper.
In 1912 Cavling wrote: ”A newspaperman who turns a deaf ear at justice will rot. He is a hundred times more despicable than the rabble rouser, who may occasionally find himself on the side justice.”
And in 1924 Cavling explained how a journalist ought to conduct himself:
”He must be a thinking, willing and striving person for whom his pen is a weapon of the spirit. A newspaperman with no ideal objective and only looking to increase his paycheck is no journalist. He is pretending be something he is not and he will end up thinking less of himself than will a colleague who considers the press as his calling.”
With models such as Segerstedt and Cavling, one need never bother with the likes of Per Svensson and Niklas Orrenius. They will never go down in history as anything but cowardly fair-weather sailors.

The Immigration-Industrial Complex strikes again
Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt reveals his strategy: Mass immigration is a weapon in a political power struggle intended to ensure the ruling elite eternal control
Sweden's Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt from the right-of center partyModeraterna (The Moderates) has never concealed his loathing of the immigration-critical party Sverigedemokraterna (The Sweden Democrats, SD), which managed to gain access to Parliament after the last election – much to the regret of the country's power elite. At a November 6 meeting at Stockholm University he clarified his criticism of Sweden's third-largest party.
Provoked by the question why he had not confronted the SD, he answered that this is one of the hardest problems to solve. "Once they have entered Parliament, they are difficult to evict," he said.
As reported by the daily Metro, he continued:
"Let us not imagine that we can overcome the Sweden Democrat phenomenon in an open debate. Fundamentally, we have to realize that there are social problems associated with integration and immigration, criminality, globalization and the reorientation of Sweden, which we must solve. We must give people hope that these are problems that can be solved. That is what we are trying to do."
According to Fredrik Reinfeldt, the SD's very existence is "the beginning of the decline that we have already seen in other countries. That's why we must isolate them from influence." As an example he mentioned that shortly after the parliamentary elections in September 2010, his government entered an agreement with the left-leaning Miljöpartiet (The Environmentalist Party) concerning asylum and immigration policies.
"The effect of the SD was that we got a policy going in the opposite direction," Fredrik Reinfeldt told the students at Stockholm University.
And the effect is indeed remarkable. As reported by Dispatch Internationalon August 29, Sweden's immigration authority, Migrationsverket, estimates an influx of 174.500 new immigrants over the next two years – on top of the one million that have entered tiny Sweden over the past decade.
In other words: Unless Swedes stop voting for the Sweden Democrats, the government will punish with a policy "going in the opposite direction", i.e., with more immigration.
How does Fredrik Reinfeldt intend to give Swedes "hope" that the problems associated with "integration, and immigration, criminality, globalization and the reorientation of Sweden" can be solved?
On this he is rather vague. The government is, however, quite explicit when is comes to new initiatives aimed at suppressing those who think that the problems exist.
In a press release dated November 9 – three days after Fredrik Reinfeldt's reflections in Stockholm – Sweden's Labor Department announced new measures to ensure "a more effective work against xenophobia". The announcement comes in the shape of a report (SOU 2012:74) entitled "Xenophobia amongst us". The greatest threat to "exposed groups" in today's Sweden, says the report, "does not come from extremist groups but from "the everyday racism that many people are guilty of".
As noted in the report, "xenophobic parties are represented in a number of European parliaments and even in the Swedish one. The primary target of the negative messages issued by these parties and other xenophobic organizations is persons hailing from countries where Islam is the dominant religion."
The xenophobes are primarily active in "the new media", i.e., the Internet.
Something has to be done and the report's chief author, Bengt Westerberg, proposes that millions be allocated to increase indoctrination in schools. Among other things, Sweden's School Inspection should regularly report on "xenophobia" and other examples of intolerance among the children.
Non-governmental organizations in charge of so-called "antidiscrimination centers" in every county (län) should have at least one jurist on the payroll and be provided with state support for their activities.
The state should also finance a so-called "Quick Response facility" charged with registering what the media report on people with a foreign background. The Research Council on Labor Market and Social Science (FAS) should be tasked with evaluating Swedish research on international migration and ethnic relations and ensure that local councils on crime prevention keep an eye on "hate crimes".
The Reinfeldt government's openly stated intentions put the approximately 10 percent of the population, who have told pollsters that they intend to vote for the Sweden Democrats, in an awkward position: Through their taxes they are forced to pay for a state that will do anything in its power to suppress their opinions and criminalize their worries over the Islamization of their homeland.
Sweden washes its hands of them. They cannot count on the state's protection and are in effect no longer citizens of that state but forced to yield to Sweden's new most-favored population segment consisting of a growing number immigrants from foreign lands and even more alien cultures.
Strangely enough, Fredrik Reinfeldt has so far refrained from formulating the most obvious solution, which would be to ban the Sweden Democrats and put the party's supporters in re-education camps.
Similar measures have been adopted with a fair degree of success in other totalitarian states to which post-democratic Sweden can be compared.
This radical solution to the xenophobia problem would, however, create unemployment among the thousands employed in the one the country's economic growth sectors, i.e., The Immigration-Industrial Complex, and whose task has been to swoop down on everyday racism. If Sweden's everyday racists are locked up in camps, deprived of the right to vote for the party of their choice and barred from access to the media, there will be no need for all these people to keep them in check. A few camp guards will suffice.
Nor is the simple solution without its political risks. If the racists are removed daily life – and immigrants continue to behave as badly as some of them have done so far – who is one going to blame for the crimes and the failure of integration?
Fredrik Reinfeldt deserves our gratitude for having shed light on an issue that has been debated among Islam-critics for some time.
Here is the conundrum: Has the massive immigration which Western governments have driven for decades been motivated by humanism and brotherly love? Or must one conclude that the mass importation of foreigners has been an instrument in a power-political endeavor?
Fredrik Reinfeldt's frank remarks in Stockholm would seem to confirm the latter assumption. They also strengthen the hypothesis that the consequences of mass immigration – ghettoization, crime and social chaos – have not been unintended but the price which the power elite has been willing to let population pay in order to keep themselves in power.
Sweden's Quick Responders will be far from idle. Permit Dispatch International to call their attention to Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, who on November 6, 2012 stood up at Stockholm University and claimed that immigration was somehow associated with crime.

Everybody is hurt when journalists confuse science with politics

The story was that “racism and extremism” flourish in party. According to Orrenius, this is seen most clearly by the SD's decision to send free copies of Dispatch International to all party members. Expressen's journalist is particularly aghast at Dispatch International's September 20 issue, which carried an article by me.
Orrenius reports that racism is reflected by five statements in the article: 1) Immigrants are “korkade”, i.e. stupid; 2) Massive low-IQ immigration makes Sweden’s national average IQ drop; 3) Democracy is rarely seem in countries with an average IQ lower than 90; 4) Massive low-IQ but high-fertility immigration to Europe and USA combined with the low fertility of the native populations will cause average intelligence to drop in both geographic areas; 5) In primordial times, cold winters eliminated the weak and less intelligent but the modern welfare state reverses this natural selection process and causes the gene pool to decay.
This, according to Expressen, is pure racism and extremism, and for that reason no other political party in Sweden would ever touch Dispatch International with a barge pole. To stress his point, Orrenius adds that “all established parties now despise the SD even more”.
This journalistic treatment is interesting because it targets a scientific report, published after anonymous specialist peer-review in a professional international journal, which was the basis of my article in Dispatch International. If the scientific observations in my article are correct, as I believe they are, the Swedish public should be made aware of them. That is not likely to happen as long as Expressen and all other leading Swedish newspapers only see racism and extremism in inconvenient scientific reports.
To test the validity of Niklas Orrenius' accusations of racism, we will take a look at whether he either: 1) misunderstands, 2) cannot count, or 3) is scientifically illiterate, or 4) is ignorant of recent demographics, or 5) simply doesn’t understand the consequences of evolution – or is perhaps guilty of all these errors combined.
I have neither said nor meant that immigrants are “korkade” or stupid. To the contrary, I have carefully differentiated among immigrants according to their 235 nations of origin and then categorized them according to whether they come from high-IQ countries (Western) or low-IQ countries (non-Western). I have noted that most immigrants to Europe come from non-Western countries (98 percent in the case of Denmark). I have acknowledged that literally hundreds of solid studies confirm that IQ is up to 80 percent genetic, that IQ is the most stable behavioral trait ever measured in psychology, that IQ differences have been documented to be stable over a lifetime in individuals, across individuals, over multiple generations, and across nations. I have reported that IQ is close to normally distributed in all known populations. This means that even in a very low-IQ immigrant group, there most likely will be a few very high IQ individuals. In light of this, it is simply poor journalism to claim that Dispatch International promotes the idea that immigrants are stupid, and the jury is still out on whether Orrenius deliberately misled his readers, simply misunderstood, or perhaps was too lazy to check the relevant scientific facts.
Second, Expressen's journalist demonstrates a lack of numerical skills and seems unable to understand that low-IQ immigration will inevitably lower Swedish average IQ – and more so the more low-IQ immigrants Sweden takes in. To see this as racism is to acknowledge that he does not know that all well-standardized IQ tests are “color”-blind. Another point is that low IQ has been amply demonstrated to create troubles for all affected individuals and nations – irrespective of race, color or creed. We know that even in the most gifted immigrant groups (i.e. North East Asian or Jews) there will be a few low-IQ individuals, statistically speaking of course, and we see that they encounter problems much like those low-IQ Swedes run into. These, and many other facts, are well documented in countless studies. Anybody who can count and read knows that.
Third, the Finnish researcher Tutu Vanhanen (Emeritus Professor of Political Science at the University of Tampere) has analyzed the quality of democracy in multiple countries and noted that democracy is absent in almost all nations with average IQs below 90. Instead of accusing people of racism, Expressen should present this essential demographic information in large print on its front page. That would give Swedish politicians and intellectuals reason to ponder what implications the current massive low-IQ immigration will have for Swedish democracy and the open society.
Fourth, demographic studies have recently begun to include IQ as a parameter. We know that Sweden is a high-IQ area (the most recent estimate is IQ 98.6), and that Swedes have a replacement rate far below the 2.1 children per woman necessary to maintain the population. When we combine this knowledge with another observation – that low-IQ people have more children than high-IQ people (at least since year 1850) – it is easily seen that there will be fewer gifted Swedes in the world by the day. Generally, non-Western immigrants have lower IQ and higher fertility rates than Swedes. The end result is that low-IQ individuals will eventually form a majority in former Swedish territories – most likely before the end of the century, as the tendency seems to be exponentially accelerating. A population dynamic like this will reduce average Swedish IQ to a point where democracy may no longer be tenable. Instead of talking about racism, Expressen should highlight this story and ask the people responsible for an explanation.
Fifth, to realize what all this means for the future of Sweden, you need some knowledge of evolutionary theory and combine this with behavior genetics. Unfortunately, many people seem to have a hard time understanding that the genetic potential for high IQ was originally harshly selected for in cold areas of the world, in particular in the high North, and that this would go some way towards explaining the massive North-South differences in national IQs and BNP. For some it is impossible to realize that massive low-IQ immigration will reverse this selection process. They tend to consider it a moral issue and refuse to acknowledge that this development comes at a price –to be paid by future generations.
These observations pose a final but rather important question about ethics: Why does Expressen scream racism instead of reporting the data needed for an objective perspective? Could it be that the paper is oversensitive to the opinion of leading politicians?
Or perhaps Expressen's journalists thinks it is great fun, and also good for his personal promotion, to accuse academics of bad science, racism, Nazism or extreme right-orientation? At least one Danish journalist (Jørgen Ølgaard from the Danish Forskerforum) was candid enough to tell me that he thought it was such great fun. Even universities join in here by witch-hunting what they consider controversial research. They may lie and misinform, but you will never hear them admit that they were driven by political correctness.
To give an example (among many – see HelmuthNyborg.dk, and in particular: The Greatest Collective Scientific Fraud), Dean Svend Hylleberg at the University of Aarhus in Denmark told the public that I had measured penis size in a developmental study. This was untrue. The director of my institute, professor Jens Mammen, lied to the university as well as to the public that children in my study were forced to be photographed nude, which made the study meaningless. Such photography is international standard procedure to determine the relationship between biological age and chronological age, but of course no force was ever applied.
A third colleague, Pia Ankersen, lied to a local committee that I had refused to cooperate with her in connection with a publication on a sex difference in intelligence, despite the fact that I had four times before asked her for cooperation. When presented with this series of lies, the chancellor of Aarhus University suspended me for scientific misconduct. However, after an independent committee concluded that the allegations were baseless, he had to back off. Instead he issued a grave warning for “highly inadequate and unacceptable” research.
This warning looses all meaning in the face of the fact that prominent international science journals (all with anonymous peer-review) continue to publish my countless scientific publications and books, and that more than 40 of the leading international experts in the relevant scientific fields wrote critical letters to Chancellor Lauritz B. Holm-Nielsen, asking him to stop the witch hunt.
The politically correct university administration could not care less. Instead they tried in vain to initiate an official disciplinary case against me for telling international colleagues about the university's handling of the case. The final attack came when I was denied the usual emeritus status after leaving due to age. I was told that the university and I do not share the same “values”.
The witch-hunting of scientists who study individual and group differences in intelligence and personality, or who consider them from a demographic perspective, does not stop here. Critics accuse them of doing immoral and indecent science or initiate court cases against them.
Others overwrite their Wikipedia pages. I am, for example, accused of administering sex hormones to improve the intelligence of women with chromosome anomalies. A blatant lie. Being a psychologist I am not even permitted to prescribe hormones or any other medicine. I am even accused of courting Nazi circles, despite the fact that I have repeatedly stressed my absolute opposition to all totalitarian ideologies.
This entire affair is not about the truth but an attempt to discredit a researcher.
Ultimately, the victims will the Swedes that are forced to live with their country's bleak future – a fact that is deliberately withheld from them – by the very people who created it.

I have acknowledged that literally hundreds of solid studies confirm that IQ is up to 80 percent genetic, that IQ is the most stable behavioral trait ever measured in psychology, that IQ differences have been documented to be stable over a lifetime in individuals, across individuals, over multiple generations, and across nations. I have reported that IQ is close to normally distributed in all known populations. This means that even in a very low-IQ immigrant group, there most likely will be a few very high IQ individuals. In light of this, it is simply poor journalism to claim that Dispatch International promotes the idea that immigrants are stupid, and the jury is still out on whether Orrenius deliberately misled his readers, simply misunderstood, or perhaps was too lazy to check the relevant scientific facts.
Second, Expressen's journalist demonstrates a lack of numerical skills and seems unable to understand that low-IQ immigration will inevitably lower Swedish average IQ – and more so the more low-IQ immigrants Sweden takes in. To see this as racism is to acknowledge that he does not know that all well-standardized IQ tests are “color”-blind. Another point is that low IQ has been amply demonstrated to create troubles for all affected individuals and nations – irrespective of race, color or creed. We know that even in the most gifted immigrant groups (i.e. North East Asian or Jews) there will be a few low-IQ individuals, statistically speaking of course, and we see that they encounter problems much like those low-IQ Swedes run into. These, and many other facts, are well documented in countless studies. Anybody who can count and read knows that.
Third, the Finnish researcher Tutu Vanhanen (Emeritus Professor of Political Science at the University of Tampere) has analyzed the quality of democracy in multiple countries and noted that democracy is absent in almost all nations with average IQs below 90. Instead of accusing people of racism, Expressen should present this essential demographic information in large print on its front page. That would give Swedish politicians and intellectuals reason to ponder what implications the current massive low-IQ immigration will have for Swedish democracy and the open society.
Fourth, demographic studies have recently begun to include IQ as a parameter. We know that Sweden is a high-IQ area (the most recent estimate is IQ 98.6), and that Swedes have a replacement rate far below the 2.1 children per woman necessary to maintain the population. When we combine this knowledge with another observation – that low-IQ people have more children than high-IQ people (at least since year 1850) – it is easily seen that there will be fewer gifted Swedes in the world by the day. Generally, non-Western immigrants have lower IQ and higher fertility rates than Swedes. The end result is that low-IQ individuals will eventually form a majority in former Swedish territories – most likely before the end of the century, as the tendency seems to be exponentially accelerating. A population dynamic like this will reduce average Swedish IQ to a point where democracy may no longer be tenable. Instead of talking about racism, Expressen should highlight this story and ask the people responsible for an explanation.
Fifth, to realize what all this means for the future of Sweden, you need some knowledge of evolutionary theory and combine this with behavior genetics. Unfortunately, many people seem to have a hard time understanding that the genetic potential for high IQ was originally harshly selected for in cold areas of the world, in particular in the high North, and that this would go some way towards explaining the massive North-South differences in national IQs and BNP. For some it is impossible to realize that massive low-IQ immigration will reverse this selection process. They tend to consider it a moral issue and refuse to acknowledge that this development comes at a price –to be paid by future generations.
These observations pose a final but rather important question about ethics: Why does Expressen scream racism instead of reporting the data needed for an objective perspective? Could it be that the paper is oversensitive to the opinion of leading politicians?
Or perhaps Expressen's journalists thinks it is great fun, and also good for his personal promotion, to accuse academics of bad science, racism, Nazism or extreme right-orientation? At least one Danish journalist (Jørgen Ølgaard from the Danish Forskerforum) was candid enough to tell me that he thought it was such great fun. Even universities join in here by witch-hunting what they consider controversial research. They may lie and misinform, but you will never hear them admit that they were driven by political correctness.
To give an example (among many – see HelmuthNyborg.dk, and in particular: The Greatest Collective Scientific Fraud), Dean Svend Hylleberg at the University of Aarhus in Denmark told the public that I had measured penis size in a developmental study. This was untrue. The director of my institute, professor Jens Mammen, lied to the university as well as to the public that children in my study were forced to be photographed nude, which made the study meaningless. Such photography is international standard procedure to determine the relationship between biological age and chronological age, but of course no force was ever applied.
A third colleague, Pia Ankersen, lied to a local committee that I had refused to cooperate with her in connection with a publication on a sex difference in intelligence, despite the fact that I had four times before asked her for cooperation. When presented with this series of lies, the chancellor of Aarhus University suspended me for scientific misconduct. However, after an independent committee concluded that the allegations were baseless, he had to back off. Instead he issued a grave warning for “highly inadequate and unacceptable” research.
This warning looses all meaning in the face of the fact that prominent international science journals (all with anonymous peer-review) continue to publish my countless scientific publications and books, and that more than 40 of the leading international experts in the relevant scientific fields wrote critical letters to Chancellor Lauritz B. Holm-Nielsen, asking him to stop the witch hunt.
The politically correct university administration could not care less. Instead they tried in vain to initiate an official disciplinary case against me for telling international colleagues about the university's handling of the case. The final attack came when I was denied the usual emeritus status after leaving due to age. I was told that the university and I do not share the same “values”.
The witch-hunting of scientists who study individual and group differences in intelligence and personality, or who consider them from a demographic perspective, does not stop here. Critics accuse them of doing immoral and indecent science or initiate court cases against them.
Others overwrite their Wikipedia pages. I am, for example, accused of administering sex hormones to improve the intelligence of women with chromosome anomalies. A blatant lie. Being a psychologist I am not even permitted to prescribe hormones or any other medicine. I am even accused of courting Nazi circles, despite the fact that I have repeatedly stressed my absolute opposition to all totalitarian ideologies.
This entire affair is not about the truth but an attempt to discredit a researcher.
Ultimately, the victims will the Swedes that are forced to live with their country's bleak future – a fact that is deliberately withheld from them – by the very people who created it.

”I fear that Sweden has given up – but it’s not too late”
When Mikael Jalving’s book ”Absolute Sweden – A journey into the realm of silence” was published in Denmark a little over a year ago, it sparked a heated debate. Are things really as bad as this in Sweden?
Do the Swedes walk around clenching their fists while displaying a united, happy front to the outside world? In his book the author travels around a Sweden characterized by fear. People want to talk about injustices they see, but are afraid to do so. The political and media elite have decided which opinions you can air in public, and those who dare defy the sanctions are disgraced and humiliated publicly.
Author and journalist Mikael Jalving sees a Sweden where people are afraid to speak out – now his controversial book is finally published in Swedish
“Sweden is a democracy only in name,” writes one man in an e-mail to Mikael Jalving.
“Many Swedes are frustrated that our voices are not being heard. The media and politicians are continually hounding people who don’t like the immigration policy, because they want to silence future critics beforehand,” writes another, begging Jalving and other Danish journalists to shed some light on the situation.
A large Swedish publishing house immediately wanted to translate and publish the book, but changed their minds after two weeks. Only now it has been made available in Swedish, with a lightly toned-down title; “Absolute Sweden – A country in transformation”. But as I write this article, it becomes clear that the book stands without a distributor. At the last moment, Recito förlag changed their minds, and suddenly and without warning sent the following e-mail to Mikael Jalving’s publisher:
”We regret to inform you that we have decided not to distribute the book, because it would put us in a situation we do not feel comfortable with. We wish you the best of luck in finding a distributor who can help you, and hope our late decision doesn’t put you out too much.”
“I have come to understand that the book is, as you say, a hot potato, but this is bizarre. It strengthens the thesis in the book, though, as did the so-called PK-affair,” Jalving says.
Oh yes, the PK-affair. In 2011, Mikael Jalving was invited to talk about his book at Publicistklubben Södra (PK for short, a debate club for journalists) in Malmö. However, when it turned out he had talked about the book at a meeting held by the National Democrats, PK chairman Per Svensson banned Jalving from speaking at the meeting.
A poisonous argument led to PK vice chairwoman Ingrid Carlqvist, now editor-in-chief of Dispatch International, resigning in protest.
“There is some sort of ‘technical’ argumentation going on, that really serves the purpose of barring a genuine debate. But it’s easier to shut a small, foreign writer up than to silence Tryckfrihetssällskapet (The Free Press Society) and Dispatch International,” says Mikael Jalving.
As a Dane, he found a shortcut to loosening the tongues of the Swedes he met – he would simply start a discussion on Swedish versus Danish alcohol habits, and that would open the gate to heavier, more serious topics.
”Things that contradicted the official, glossy picture of Sweden slowly surfaced. People have their own experiences of reality; there’s a massive overflow of experiences that cannot be described; there is no language to describe what these individual experiences mean, no context to put them in.”
There are historical reasons why the debate climate is so fundamentally different in Denmark and Sweden, Jalving believes. Denmark has fought and lost wars, first against Sweden, then Germany. Sweden’s history during the last century is a story of unabated success. Sweden has managed to get out of every conflict without having to go to war, and yet has always come out on the winning side, apparently morally unscathed.
”Large Swedish corporations have led the way to success and created an industrial-political alliance. I believe this is the key to the apparent consensus – why fight when everything is going so well? The problem is that a deconstruction of what made Sweden so successful in the first place is now underway, the strong Swedish culture-state that generated so many good things.”
So, is it too late to turn things around? Not at all. Mikael Jalving believes that the anger now only visible as a sizzling on the internet, will sooner or later grow strong enough as to make people overcome their fear of speaking out.
”After I’ve spoken to people, I’ve sometimes gotten the feeling that Sweden has given up, there’s a widespread apathy. But in the end, when enough people are affected by the consequences of what’s happening now, then the debate will come. After all, the Swedes are only human,” Jalving says with a smile.

Massive hacker attack against Dispatch International
Dispatch International is under attack. During the last week we have been bombarded by attempts to overload the web site, rendering it inaccessible to our readers.
”This is no ordinary Denial of Service attack, that anybody can carry out. The people responsible know what they’re doing and have reasonably high skills,” says Dispatch International’s head of internet security.
A number of experts on IT security have gone through the logs from the 24 hour period when the attack was at its most intense, around November 22. And they have drawn several conclusions, of which the most interesting is that computers belonging to the newspapers Sydsvenskan, Värnamo Nyheter and Norrköpings Tidningar, the radio production company Tredje Statsmakten Media AB and Swedish state television SVT took part in the attack.
“Most of the computers used in the attack have random, dynamic IP addresses. So, these media houses certainly stand out,” says one of the security experts.
Even if there is no way to be sure that persons from these companies have participated actively in the attack, the experts believe is the most likely scenario.
”The alternative is that these major corporations have been hacked, and that would mean this is a very high profile attack. That is very is unlikely. An attack at that level could have wreaked complete havoc with the system, and that didn’t happen this time.”
By the skin of their teeth, Dispatch International’s security team managed to keep the web page online during most of the attack, but the publication of last week’s web paper was severely delayed. If one were to calculate how much money an attack like this is worth in overtime and damage to the paper’s reputation, one would end up with a six-figure amount. Dispatch International has of course reported the attack to the police, who are now investigating suspicions of hacking.
